As part of the activities marking the Earth Festival Nigeria 2020, Humanity Nigeria, aside attempting to break the existing Guinness World Record for the highest number of plastic bottle wastes picked by a team in five days, has also put in place plans to set a new Guinness World Record for the highest number of ‘Save the Earth’ Appeals by children.
The Record is aimed at further strengthening Humanity Nigeria’s campaign for a clean environment and a safe earth for all.
One million children across the world are thus expected to write their names in the World Record One Million Save-The-Earth Appeal page on the Earth Festival’s page: www.humanity.com.ng/onemillionappeals.
Leading the One Million Save-The-Earth Appeal is the Ajmal Dan Ali Family. The family will be calling on all families across the world to rise up and support their children in becoming one of the over one million children that will help set the new Guinness world record for Nigeria and thus become Guinness World Record Holders with personalized Guinness World Record Certificate to show for it.
It will be the first time ever in the world that an appeal to save the earth is being raised and led by children.
Various participation prizes will be given to children for participating in the Guinness world record attempt.
